At Mimram Veterinary Centre, we truly understand how distressing it can be when your pet becomes unwell or has an accident outside normal working hours; so we have teamed up with the Royal Veterinary College to provide our clients with a dedicated out of hours emergency service at the Queen Mother Hospital in Potters Bar.
In the event that you have any concerns relating to your pet when the practice is closed, please call the emergency service on the number below. Your call will be answered by a member of the Out of Hours Emergency Care Team who are always happy to give advice or arrange to see your pet should that be necessary. Rest assured, the vast majority of out of hours cases are treated efficiently and compassionately by the Emergency Care Team.
If your pet is especially unwell or their condition particularly complex they will have automatic access to help from the Royal Veterinary College’s team of specialist vets and state-of-the-art facilities.
In addition to being able to contact our own team of vets directly by telephone, the emergency team are also able to access your pet’s medical history in order to give your pet the best possible care.
We are proud to be the first practice that offers this service in conjunction with the Royal Veterinary College.
The Queen Mother Hospital will give an estimate of initial costs once contacted. Should treatment or investigations be suggested they will then be able to provide a further estimate.
